Has anyone had a natural birth AFTER c-section?

My doctor is giving me the choice to try a vaginal birth even though I had my first child via c-section.. I've never really heard of anyone doing this before.. If someone has successfully had a natural birth after c-section I'd love to hear about it ? ☺️

This is called a VBAC! Watch "The Business of Being Born." It is a wonderful documentary. Many women have VBACs. There are some risks associated, but there are also risks associated with planned c sections. I think it is a wonderful choice for a healthy woman! Have a beautiful birth.

This is my first baby but have multiple friends who did this!

I am planning a vbac with this baby and it is actually been proven safer than multiple c sections and is now the recommended choice by the American academy of obstetrics.

Yes my sister did. Her first was a c-section. She went to have 4 more vaginal births afterwards :)

I did and was so happy I did it! I had an uncomplicated section with my first (he was breeched) and decided to do vbac with my second. It was a long 33 hour labor and he was 10lbs 10oz. But it was well worth it and recovery is much shorter. There are also a lot less risks with a natural delivery. I'm hoping to have another vbac for this one :)

You need to check with your doctor and make sure you are a good candidate and meet the requirements. It can be very dangerous if you aren't and you try anyways.
