HELP! Possible pregnancy or preperiod symptoms? I am 16 and can't talk to anyone about this at home.

I had protected sex on the 21st of September, and I began ovulating on the 24th of September. I wasn't sexually active durning my ovulation period (24th of September- 1st of October). It is now the 7th or October, and I am spotting and bleeding durning foreplay. I have really weird spurts of nausea, and have been extremely moody, but I also am supposed to start my period on the 14th. Could I be pregnant or is this just pre period symptoms?

They both mimic each other. So it could be either one. If you miss your expected period take a test. Go to a free clinic, planned parenthood or health department if you dont want anyone to know.

I think you should wait to take a test. Stress can delay a period too. Do a little research on the topic. For instance you take it too early you can get a false negative. Let's say you are pregnant and take a test too early then the pregnancy hormone may be too low to be detected by a home test. Also for most women pregnancy symptoms don't show up until the 6th week. So relax and give it some time. If you are late take a test and if it's negative wait a few more days and if still haven't a started your period take another one. I've psyched myself out numerous times while I was trying to get pregnant, took me five years.

Pregnancy isn't likely since you used protection & it was outside if your fertile window. Unfortunately, you can't know for sure until time for your period. Are you on BC pills, by chance? They can cause some of the symptoms you're experiencing.

Im sure your not. You had protected sex. And your period doesnt start till next week you should wait and see. If your period is a week late then id be concerned. And i say a week late cause sometimes mine does that. It takes time to know your period schedule. I hope everything is ook keep us updated

Hmm...well it's obviously too early for a home test. It could be either. If you don't normally have those symptoms before your period then it may be more likely to be pregnancy. But at the same time, every time I've had a scare, my mind would play tricks on me and I would overthink all the symptoms and it would turn out to be PMS or something. I would wait until your expected period and if you don't get it that day then take a test. Also, don't stress out. There's nothing you can do yet anyway. Things will work out either way! :) good luck
