Caffeine when TTC?

Question

I've heard different things about having caffiene while you are ttc and while pregnant. I don't usually have caffiene,  only occasionally and definitely not daily. How much can I have, just to be safe. What is correct?

I only drink decaf now and only like 1 cup a day.. JUST IN CASE lol

It varies on how much coffee you drink to begin with. If you drink 10 cups of coffee a day, reducing to that to 1-2 will have a dramatic effect on your body. So if you don't drink coffee then 1-2 is fine but if you're a river of the roast then slowly maybe decrease by one cup a week to get you down to 1-2 cups a day or so.

Ok. Most weeks I don't have any. This week I had sweet tea twice and had 140 mg. Not in one day though. I have heard so many different things about it!

I'm not sure what you should consume I just know when I started TTC an finally got pregnant I didn't consume any caffeine
