Being played or cheated on??

I need opinions please.........how do you know if your being played or cheated on?? I am having issues with my so, not sure if he is just being an ass or if he is/has cheated on me.......

Oh boy...where to begin...
My ex would start fights for no reason to the point I didn't want anything to do with him so he wouldn't feel "guilty" for cheating.
He'd get distant and then all of a sudden get super lovey 
He wouldn't hold my hand or anything in public
He'd start hiding his phone
He'd seem distracted all the time
Money would go faster or not be there (too much spent for what he claimed he bought, or claiming working hours he never got paid for)
And he liked playing games, so I knew if he introduced me to a female friend (co-worker/friend he "grew up with") and insisted we hung out, I knew she was the other woman.

Stupid me stayed with that for over a year. I'm ashamed. Trust your gut and don't be played. If it looks like a cheater, smells like a cheater, seems like a cheater, sweetie you're looking at a cheater

If u have a gut feeling there's someone else then most likely there is. Go with ur instinct and ur gut and heart. U should be able to tell whether he's being an ass just to be one or if there's someone else and that's why he's being an ass...Gl chic hope he's just being an ass like they all do..lol
