ramzi gender prediction

so I hear if the placenta is on the right its a boy and if its on the left its a girl , this was my 1 st ultrasound at 8 weeks im going for my 2 nd tommorow I know it may be way too early to tell but can anyone help me guess ? my babys father says right but I say left . was it accurate for any of you ladies ? or do you know of any other accurate gender predictions ?
