How do I check my cervix?

I am 21 & me and my guy are trying for our 1st...and I just can't seem to get pregnant.... so I was wondering how do you check your cervix? Please help

I just started a few days ago! But I googled how to check and it seems easy enough, just feel for your cervix, try to feel for a slit or a hole on the tip to see how open it is and check how hard or soft it is(usually ranging from hard like the tip of your nose to soft like your lips) and how high it is...also circle your finger around your cervixto collect mucous to log the consistency...easy :)
