So i got out of a long and terrible relationship in July 2014. I move out of the same state as him, got my own place and got settled with my kids and started a new life.

I just recently started reconnecting with an old friend from high school who i really like, but he isnt sure if he wants to be serious with someone who has kids. He really likes me but isnt sure about having a family yet. We have recently started sleeping together and he comes around a lot more, has bought me flowers and been super sweet and helpful with me and my kids. Should i stick it out and see where it goes? Let go before it gets too deep because he isnt sure about my kids, or should i have a talk with him? What type of time frame should i do? I need an opinion!
