So I'm a freshman this year and being at a new school you tend to survey the eye candy. It's this football player that's a junior. He's funny, nice, and really smart. 2 problems he's 17 and I'm 14. Also, he always texts me after school and says I love you and hugs me in the empty hallways at school but whenever I see him with friends he brushes me off. Is it because the age? I'm honestly so confused.
