First birthday?

I'd say keep it simple because:1. Baby won't remember it2. You don't need another thing to stress about!Make some good food, make a cute banner or birthday hat for him, and invite a few close friends or family. Enjoy the time with everyone on that special day :-)

One of my friends had a special small cake made for her son and gave him a party hat and bow tie to wear when he smashed his cake (while everyone watched and took pics) the first birthday is more for the parents than the baby. 

Stay away from Pinterest. Lol. Keep it easy.
