Blood work?

Question

Is it normal to have your hcg and stuff tested when you become pregnant? I am 6+3 and have had no bloodwork done and I don't go to the doctor until next week, and that's for an ultrasound.

My first pregnancy was ectopic and they didn't do blood work so it was devastating to find out at the ultrasound. We are pregnant again and this time I'm insisting on blood work first as it can very telling. Good luck!

I wasn't sure if it's something normal or not. I was also on clomid so I was shocked when I first called & they didn't want to see me sooner and then I sent a message to my provider and she didn't even know I was pregnant! I have my first ultrasound next week Wednesday so just hoping for good news!!

I only had blood work for a pregnancy test. That's all. Never even got hcg levels or anything. I wouldn't worry.

I had blood test yesterday and will tomorrow to make sure levels are rising. I'm nervous but thankful because it will show if it is a viable pregnancy

I just had my first appointment yesterday at 7 weeks, they did blood work. I'll be going back in 4 weeks for a heartbeat ultrasound
