Should you pee after sex?

Here is today's Hump Day Health Hint: 

In general, it’s a good idea to pee after sex. Sex can introduce bacteria where it shouldn’t be, up inside the normally sterile urethra (the tube from the bladder).

Urinating flushes out an bacteria that may be lurking near the opening to the urethra, that can wreak havoc if it gets up there, with a urinary tract infection (UTI).

But what about if you are trying to concieve (ttc)? 

Well, according to the ASRM, you can still pee after sex. They say that sperm gets to where it is going within seconds. So you do not need to worry about flushing the good stuff down the toilet, as it were. 

So what do you do? Pee or not pee?
