Misscarriage and when to try again.?

This is my first period since having a D&C 6 weeks ago after miscarring my identical twins. Me and my oyher half was ready to try again weeks ago but decided to wait till ny period had arrived. Now its here.... Is best to try staright away or wait another cycle? Thanks
