Yes it does matter. Your LH surge is ALWAYS in the afternoon. For some woman it lasts only for 4 hours.... So if you're testing in the morning you can easily miss your LH surge. Try to test in the afternoon or early evening.

Ypur not suppose to use first morning urine. I go pee and then I'll drink a glass of juice or have a mug of tea walk my son to school and then around 10am I take my OPK test and that gives me a good result.
