Anyone taking progesterone?  In what form/how much?  When did start taking it?

​My OB prescribed 200mg 2x daily after my 2nd miscarriage.  He said I shouldn't start it until my next BFP but I read online to start it 4 days after LH surge on an OPK (approx 3 DPO).  Just wondering what others are doing.  Thanks!
