One of the most important things to remember is that age really is just a number. Your friends and family may be a little uneasy about the situation at first but take the time to really introduce them to the person your partner is. Try not to get too defensive if people seem uncomfortable with your relationship at first – it’s a natural human reaction to second-guess things at times. But as long as you are comfortable and happy in your relationship with your partner then it shouldn’t matter whether they’re 25 or 65.
