No surely not! 8 days bevore AF is due would put you at 6DPO. At this early time NO HCG is in your urine. In your blood you can find HCG not earlier than 8 DPO. In your urine it appears not earlier than 10-11 DPO! I insist not testing until AF is 1 week late. Many reasons.... Many Ladys are going insane here while early testing for months.... Don't waste your nerves.... After a BFP you have to wait anyway 9 months.... Does 1 week realy count????

It really depends on your dpo... If you have confirmed O either via opk tests or bbt wait until at lest 8dpo or some websites suggest 11-12dpo. 
For my personal experience with my last pregnancy I confirmed O via fertility friend app and bbt, I had implantation spotting on 6dpo tested with a frer fmu on 9dpo and got a stark white test. 10 dpo I started feeling like my uterus was gonna fall out that night out of jest I turned to my DH and said "either I'm gonna have a hellacious period compete with it's own week on discovery channel or I'm pregnant" sure enough next morning at 11dpo I got my bfp :D

Yep. Glow says go ahead and test at 9 DPO and I did. Got my BFP then. Period was due five days later.

No. It's a waist of a test. I wouldn't test until at least 3 days before. Even then you might get false results.
