So my boyfriend and I have been dating for almost three months. We love eachother completely and we have a special connection that nobody can understand. But he's been talking about an engagement already. I want to marry him.  But is it to early?

You don't really know someone until at least 2 years, if you know you will be with him forever, what's the rush? Slow down take your time and get to know him. I'd be skeptical of someone that is that eager to jump into marriage.

Only you can make that judgement call :) no one can really say what's best for you when it comes to that, unless there is obvious signs of something negative. I say do what your heart tells you :) me and my boyfriend were best friends first and are going on 4 years together come January. We talk about marriage but are in no rush and wanna make sure we have our finances in order for everything that involves getting married. That doesn't mean we wouldn't go get married in a heart beat in Las Vegas if that's the type of wedding we wanted. It's a personal decision, but don't let the "honeymoon" stage of dating make your decision for you. I'd personally give it a little longer and go through some hard times together, for hard times bring out a true person. Good luck !

I think it's too soon. Of course, some people get engaged quickly and go the distance, but some definitely don't. It takes a while to really get to know someone. Right now, you are still in the infatuation stage. Years back, my divorced dad started dating a woman. They were engaged after 3 months, married after six months and divorced by month 12. They realized that they really didn't know each other.

My husband and I met on May 19, 2011. We were engaged in July. We planned to marry in October 2011 but it kept getting pushed back. On May 18, 2013 we married. If you guys want to marry get engaged. Plan according to how you two feel.

​The only reason we pushed back the first time was I got scared that it was too fast. The second time james and I were dealing with me finding out about me having ptsd from before I met him.

​When we married our relationship did not really change. However we were together a while before. There was a lot I had to deal with.
