Once a cheater always a cheater?

Dating a guy who has admitted to me he has cheated on his past girlfriends.  He wants to take things to the next level but I'm not sure. Is the saying true once a cheater always a cheater?

I used to cheat constantly. I'm talking 3 relationships at once. I will NEVER cheat on my SO. He's my world and he treats me right. I'll do everything in my power to keep our relationship strong (and so will he)

I also use to be a cheater but since I found my S/O,  I am faithful he is everything I could ask for ... multiple people could try and be him but no one can come close ;)

I think that phrase is for the girl he cheats on. He was unhappy with her therefore if he stayed with her then she'd be the one he always cheated on. He hasn't cheated on you so give him a chance. His relationship with you could be different.

Some guys might cheat because he's not feeling it in the initial relationship and doesn't have the heart to be honest, but some may feel incapable of love and use women for sex, it's up to you I figure him out I guess
