Brown , period , cramping ??

Was getting bad pains and then glow was saying my period was Late , but yesterday my period came but it doesn't even look like my period it's like brown and I'm having really bad pains idk if it's normal but I'm also on birth control.

It could be your BC I was on the NUVA ring and about 3 months after I started using it I started getting bad cramps and weird bleeding along with irregular cycles. I had never had cramps prior to using the ring and my periods were always regular, after I switched my BC the odd bleeding and cramps quit and my cycle regulated again.

I know the brown blood is like old blood and j was getting a little scared because i didn't no if it was my period but the cramps are just crazy lately

I never had bad cramps until I starting using birth control I verb on the pill for like 5 months now

I think that a brown period is indicative of older blood. I think the more bright red the blood is the fresher it is.
