Heavy implantation bleeding?

I am on CD 23 and about 8 DPO. Today when I wipe there was some brown discharge. I went to the restroom later and still had brown discharged but now was a little more red. Could this be implementation bleeding or am I getting my period early? It's more than spotting but not full blown period.
