I absolutely HATE that question. And I'm fully aware that I'm probably being overly sensitive. But whose business is it really if I tried to get pregnant or didn't? I told my family it was an accident because they fully believe if your not rich yet and you aren't married you shouldn't have kids. (I know, stupid). My fiancé and I both have good jobs, bought our first house, and are at a good place in life. We've been together nearly five years and felt ready for that step. For some reason it bugs me how often we get asked that question though.
