When and how to save up for baby?

To save up I thought about getting rid of the cable.  That would be 900 bucks! But the husband is not so excited.  Thoughts? What are you doing to sacve up for the baby???

I think you can start but the essentials now. If they are having a good sale stack up! I know on Black Friday babies r us and toys r us have diapers and wipes for 5 bucks! I'll be stacking up on those the babies r us diapers are really good too! I'm talking boxes not bags lol I'll be buying the crib ect on Black Friday and cyber Monday. Thrift shops are also great. You can find clothes and shoes even cribs for under $20! I won't buy blankets or bottles or anything like that in a thrift shop. Have you ever considered cloth diapers? It's not for me but look into it another great way to save money.

You can watch almost everything online now. We got rid of cable 3 years ago and don't really miss it. I still catch my shows online (a day late). You could pay for Hulu+. It's still cheaper than cable. 
We are trying to cut down on the misc. expenses that we don't budget for and happen all too often. I found that when we plan 99% of our expenses, we are able to save a lot more. Good luck!

My bf is the same but with 4 wheel driving stuff and motor bikes. I guess the car stuff is half my fault coz it's our one year and I wanna go camping. 
I think after the 12 weeks is up that's when I think we we I'll both start saving
