Off birth control question?

I've been off of birth control for 7 years and my SO,now husband, and I are ttc baby #1. Did it take anyone else this long?

7 years?!? You're WAY past the point of needing to see a doctor. The rule of thumb is 1 year if you're under 35 & healthy, 6 months if you're over 35 or have health problems. Get thine ass to a reproductive endocrinologist! Best of luck.
