Irregular cycles - what helped?

Any suggestions? Dr says my hormone levels are normal, ultrasound looked good, tubes aren't blocked. Dr put me on metformin and clomid hoping for ovulation....I'm so confused

Metformin brought back my periods but I stopped it due to side effects. Vitex is my little miracle herb that has me regulated :) only been taking it 2 months! And it's already made me ovulate twice

I took metformin for one month started at 500 mg then two weeks later 1000 then two weeks later 1500 daily..took me a month to get pregnant no side effects either
