Does anyone here have prolactinoma and if so how long have you been trying to conceive or how long did it take you to conceive?

BTW : when I say prolactinoma I mean like a tumor on your pituitary gland which can higher your prolactin levels.

Ah! I kid you not, i just teared up finding this thread! I too have prolactenemia. Had my MRI done in June and was diagnosed in September. I've searched on here before for others with this condition but came up empty handed. DH and I have had 2 children in the past but #3 is proving to be difficult. I started showing symptoms (sore leaky breasts, extreme fatigue and ZERO sex drive) in April but have never been regular. We just started using OPKs this month and I have yet to surge. Wondering if ovulating naturally is a thing of the past. My dr mentioned trying a few medications after a point if we can't conceive on our own. Best of luck to each and every 1 of you!

I have higher than normal levels of prolactin, but only slightly, and mine might be related to the benign cyst in my breast. Doc said it's nothing to worry about for me (unless it gets worse, of course), and I did get pregnant shortly after starting TTC. I think as long as you're having normal cycles again, you'll be fine TTC. Good luck! ☺

On Feb. 14 2014 I was diagnosed with a tumor on my pituitary gland which led to the conclusion on why I didnt have a period for almost 9 months. It also explained the lactation from my breast. My prolactin levels were 300 and something and that is way too high ! I had to get an MRI done and thats when they found a small tumor on my pituitary gland. I was then referred to a neurologist in July when I moved to a new state where she decided to put me on some medication called Cabergoline which within two months made my prolactin levels go down tremendously to 34 and my AF also began because of it. 
So now my husband and I are trying to conceive again so if any ladies have any success stories please share.
