I feel silly?

I feel silly for asking this but has anyone like looked down at their tummy and see it pulsing like a heartbeat? What does it mean?

There's a huge artery that goes from your heart to your legs, called your abdominal aorta. If you're lying on your belly, you can often feel your pulse in your stomach. If you lie still on your back, you can even see it pulsing just like you described :)

One cool thing to learn from this is how great walking/running is for your heart and circulation, as this artery is one of the biggest in your body!

It just means your heart is beating. When I sit still I notice it too.
