Any other military girlfriends or wives?

Hi...I'm Rikki and a newlywed (7/12/14) Marine Corps wife. Anyone else have a military man? If so which branch/rank? I haven't been through a deployment yet but it's always possible. If you've been through him going away any advice for the future if it happens?

My husband deploys all the time he's airforce and we've gone threw two deployments eight months long during the past three years. My advice is keep busy and also don't ever watch the news you'll drive yourself crazy also always make sure you have time for him sometimes he would call in the middle of my work shift luckily my boss understood and would let me go into the staff room to talk because they don't always have a lot of time

My husband is in the Army. He hasn't deployed yet but has been gone for training alot. It's always worse when you can't talk to them but having a pet does help. Also a friend who's spouse is also in. It really helps when you have someone to talk to that knows what you're going through.

Get a puppy! It helps if you have company while he is away.

My husband is in the navy. We have been married 5 years and together 7. He's deployed 4x for 9 months at a time. My biggest advice is to stay busy and have your own thing going for you. School/work/gym kept me sane during all of his deployments lol and don't get caught up in the little girly drama that can happen between the immature wives.

Here if you need me! I served and met my S.O in the Navy. We both just recently got out. Always willing to help. Deployments are such a longggg empty time. Just try to keep busy. Send care packages and you'll do great☺️

My bf is a marine and is currently deployed till early 2015. Right now fx I get this job to keep me busy till he comes home. We chat on kik or Skype when its his free time over there. My tip is keep busy and don't worry yourself.

My hubby is a Marine :) He left for a 2 month training right after we got married, so I got a puppy. Lol! January will be our 3 years and we have 2 dogs now. Just try to stay busy & be happy! Where are y'all stationed?

My boyfriend is about to leave for his first deployment. He is a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton. I've been with him over a year. Though I have a feeling he is going to propose when he gets back from his deployment
