Ever pregnancy and baby is a miracle and a precious gift no matter how long or short it took to happen.

It took us 2 years to get pregnant the first time. With help from dockors. Then we had two misscarriages one in jan and one in june.

Now we are pregnant again with first child!! This time we managed without help :) Week 12+2. Have seem the baby week 7+2 and yesterday.

I definitely feel that I am so much more worried this time. But also that I take care of myself more not risking anything. And despite all the nausea,peeing, bad sleep, not wanting food I am so very thankful and blessed that my baby is doing okay so far. I could be on bedrest and still be the happiest woman on earth!

So for me it's definitely made a difference trying for so long.

I did it in a month, and I take care of this pregnancy the same as any other mom would. I become worried, I get scared over possible miscarriages, I know that there are plenty of things that can go wrong. The struggles are the same once the implantation has occurred. However I do understand those women who have tried so hard and finally managed. We are all in this journey together, and it is important to keep in mind we all have feelings, worries, fears. No matter when the pregnancy happened.

I agree that every pregnancy should be considered a blessing! But personally for myself it took us 2.5 years of trying and IVF to get preg. I know others take much longer and I'm so grateful that it didn't take us longer than it did. But because of this I don't feel like I can complain at all about pregnancy symptoms or anything because I'm just glad to finally be here.
