Anxiety?

I've had anxiety for a while now and I'm started to have pains in my arms and legs? Is this a normal anxiety symptom or is it more serious??......

Yes anxiety can certainly manifest itself as physical pain. I've been struggling with anxiety all my life. About a year ago I was put on medication because I started suffering very frequent panic attacks out of nowhere. While I noticed it helped a little it was a lifestyle change that was in order, and now I'm back off medication with very infrequent attacks but still moderate anxiety. 
There are A LOT of things you can do to help manage anxiety. For example switching to whole grains (if you don't already) from white bread, this can help prevent spikes in blood sugar which can be enough to cause anxiety. Avoid soda and too much caffine. Try a cup of passion flower tea, which powerfully promotes relation and calm.  A balanced diet is essential.
Exercise is also important as it helps your body and brain produce serotonin (if I remember correctly) which is the "well being" chemical in the brain. Try taking a walk in the sun. I have personally found yoga to be perfect, you can find tutorials online all over if you can't afford a class (like my broke self)
Also, consider starting to take a multivitamin and more importantly a B supplement, B vitamins also boost those well being chemicals. The thing about  B vitamins though is you need to take them around the same time everyday. However don't take them on my advice alone, this is just what worked for me. (I don't know you like your doctor will!)

Yep. I get sharp random pains in my arms and legs and have had a stiff neck and sore back for a long time. If its really bothering you might want to see a doctor to see if there is any medication you can take to help :)

Extreme stress can sometimes cause the body to hurt. You might want to consider getting on anxiety medication.
