What was your experience on the pill? Would you recommend it?

I'm considering going on the birth control pill but I'm hesitant. I know a lot of people who have had bad experiences on it. So I'm just wonder about other peoples, please explain! (:

I've fallen pregnant twice on the pill while taking it correctly so won't be using it again.

I've had a lot of ups and downs using the pill. I used to be really good at remembering to take it at the same time every day but my life has been a bit hectic and sometimes I forget to take it either 1 day or 2 days. I don't take it at the same time every day anymore. At first the pill seemed to help lighten my period and I didn't get as many migranes but I still always had the worst cramps. And lately my period has been very irregular and I even missed a period last month. It all depends on your body and also I noticed stress affects your period too. The pill isn't for everyone and I've been considering changing my birth control.

I was horrible with remembering to take it at the same time every day, or even taking it at all. I like the Nuvaring that I don't have to remember to take, I just set a reminder to change it out when it's time.

The pill was BY FAR the best method for me. The depo shot had me spotting every day for 3 months, the Mirena IUD caused ovarian cysts but the pill was amazing. Never failed me and I didn't have any bad side effects. I take vitamins daily and never miss so it was easy for me to take. The pill lightened my periods and of course came at the same time every month. I'd definitely recommend the pill to anyone.
