What is a MC Like?

I know this can be a touchy subject but always wondered do they really hurt so much like they show On TV and the amount of blood as well.

I'm 13w tmro and its a constant worry of mine that something is going to go wrong.

My miscarriage was a nightmare. I didn't see it coming at first. The day before my appointment I began spotting and right before I went my instinct told me the baby was gone. I got to the doctors and I got confirmed on miscarriage. I was supposed to be 10 weeks but baby died at 6wks. At first there was just the spotting and then my obgyn gave me pills to help the process. I didn't have cramps or pain. But the bleeding began like a heavy period and escalated into a constant stream down my leg. I had to be rushed to the ER. I was going through a pad every 5 mins. I laid in a bed for prob about 3-5hours just bleeding profusely. Nurses not quite understanding. So weak I could barely move. Having to be cleaned and wiped every 30mins. Jumbo hospital pads is all that worked for me.

It is such a horrible thing.. I was 12 weeks and lost my angel. I had a horrible amount of blood that was lost, mentally and emotionally is it by far one of the worst things you could go through...

Eventually I passed out due to lack of blood an I woke up with several needles in my arms and a nurse manually pumping iv fluids into me to keep me alive. My blood pressure was too low for admittance and every min was a question of surgery. But I fought hard and then my blood pressure became semi decent and they admitted me. I was finally gave some medicine to make my uterus cramp and control the bleeding. I passed many baseball sized clots and in the end needed two blood transfusions. There were times where my body didnt even have blood available to be drawn for tests. After 4 days in the hospital and two blood transfusions later I walked out of that hospital a much stronger woman. If you miscarry yours may not be anything like mine. I can thank mine to a birth control that built my uterine lining so thick that it basically killed my developing child. This is just my story. I wasn't trying to scare. Your 13 weeks right? Miscarriages are low after that time.

First, you're out of your 1st trimester and your chance of miscarriage goes down dramatically. 
To experience a MC is something I would never want any women to go through. It's bad physically but never understand what a toll it will take on you emotionally. I lost my LO on a  Sunday afternoon. December 8th, 2013. I was 8 weeks along. I felt very disconnected with my pregnancy. Didn't feel right. I went into shock after the delivery. Shaking from head to toe. So blessed my mom was there to help me through everything or I wouldn't have done well, at all. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I don't mind talking about it. It helps me actually.

I MC'd at 6-weeks back in July. It felt like the worst cramps of my life, but focussed more towards my back. This started around noon, accompanied by bleeding that grew heavier and heavier, complete with clots. These two symptoms built and built until, around 4:30, something (guess what) fell out of me. That is the only way to describe the physical sensation. Of course, the emotional side was also there and that was almost worse than the physical pain. I wouldn't wish that feeling on my worst enemy.

The official report from the hospital (this was my first pregnancy) said I'd had a total miscarriage, which meant I didn't need a d&c. Follow-up care meant frequent blood-tests to make sure my hcg levels went back down to "less than 5".

I found my MCs were much more pain than my births. However I wonder if it was actually more painful or the fact that I was more willing to endure pain knowing I had a baby coming. Also DONT stress, one it makes things worse, what's meant to be will be and stressing isn't good for the baby. Plus you are 13weeks now and passed the vital stages unles you have a medical diagnosis and something preventing it your past the most vital time where you can MC. Usually they say if you are going to MC it'll happen before 12 weeks

This is an extremely touchy subject seeing as you are only "worrying" about a MC with no symptoms from you to warrant one. Since you did ask, I'll tell you that I had 2 MC's. The first in '10 and the next in June of this year. They were both painful seeing as my body would convulse bc I couldn't expel the fetus. Being pregnant again at 9wks6days, this is a touchy subject for me bc I have been through them and it's a very real part of my pregnancy and not just some unwarranted worry in the back of my mind. How about next time, try and open google. It has plenty of info there about what they are really like.
