Kids got brought up again between me and my boyfriend... I mentioned I wanted at least one some day.. His response "I'm sure you'll find a great guy who will agree with that decision"
I understand he doesn't want them...why would he even want a relationship with me then..knowing we want two different futures...

The question you need to ask is "why would I want a relationship with him?" If you want kids and he doesn't, there really isn't a way around that. Maybe it's time to move on.

Obviously he's not in it for the long-run.. but why in the world would he say something like that!? 
In my opinion people shouldn't get into a relationship they aren't planning/hoping to stay together "forever" ..
I wouldn't even put anymore effort into the relationship since he hinted that you would be with someone else after him.

I would leave if I were you. I wanted kids. Always have. I was with a guy for 5 years of him agreeing to kids then suddenly he says he never wants them. I left. That's a big decision you both have to be on the same page.

Are you looking to settle down at your age? He doesn't sound like he is. I think most 21 year old guys aren't thinking that their current girlfriend is the girlfriend is the girlfriend that they're going to end up with. It was a rather dickish thing to say, so you have two choices: do you like this guy enough to continue spending time with him, knowing that he's not 'the one', but that at 21, you have plenty of time to find the one? Or don't you?
