HSG test?

Question

I have an HSG test scheduled for Monday to check if my tubs are open and shape of uterus is normal. The doctor said it could be painful. I was told to take Motrin an hour before. I'm not sure if I'm more nervous about the pain or about finding out my tubes are closed. Has anyone had an HSG test done? Any advice?

Had HSG test yesterday. Both tubes were open, one with a little hesitation and today my digital OPK started blinking a happy smiley face!!! It's gonna be a good week! Thank God!! ?

I had an HSG, it wasn't that painful. I got pregnant afterwards but then miscarried.
Maybe you'll be lucky and get pregnant too.

I had mine done last month. I took ibuprofen the night before and day of. It's uncomfortable for a few seconds and I felt a lot of pressure. But as soon as it was done I felt fine. good luck!

I just had it done 2 days ago. It's very uncomfortable and feels like cramping but it's fine & it's pretty quick. Don't worry about it. Just take the Motrin. Good luck! I hope all goes well. Plus my Dr. said many women get pregnant the month after an HSG. :)
