The media coverage makes the shooter a celebrity; do you think this majes done suicidal people want to shoot up a school so they will be remembered?

Answer

Yes and no. I'm sure most of these people would have committed these acts regardless of media spotlight, but I wonder if they would have gone as far as they did. Shooters like the guy who shot up the movie theater stated right out how they liked the infamy. But the bullied kids who have finally had enough and want revenge, they're the ones who would have done it regardless.

To commit like a school shootting or genocide I think you have psychological problems, normally functioning people don't do that

The media should spend more time focusing on the victims of crimes not the suspect. It is a perfect opportunity for limelight for someone who may have otherwise never been known by anyone. And I can see that being extra motivation to commit a crime they may have already been considering.
