Bisexual/lesbian women: how did you meet your partner?

I personally have a strong attraction to women and minimal physical/no emotional attraction to men, so I'm reaching out to women who like women. How did you meet your partner? When? I am the equivalence of a sophomore in college and women don't even give me the time of day. It seems like most ladies meet each other young, and I'm wondering if I'm an anomaly.

I'm hetero (mostly) but my little brother and best friends are apart of the LGBT community.  It sounds like you are in a situation where a lot of the community is extremely tight knit. The way to meet people in that situation is to find out where they hang out, join local activists for the LGBT community, go dancing at a club. Just put yourself out there looking for like minded people and you'll meet someone. :) I've helped several friends meet people. It can be hard to break into a new scene.

Does your school have an lgbt club or anything? I'm sure you could meet other girls who like girls there.
