Anyone else on bedrest? with Cerclage?

I'm in bedrest since 21 wks w/ emergent cerclage due to incompetent cervix.

Was wondering if anyone else is on bed rest or has a cerclage too?

Good luck girl! I was on bed rest with my son, progesterone injections and procardia meds. But too far along for a cerclage at 26 weeks
He was born at 36 weeks
But pregnant with number 2 and cerclage was placed last Wednesday so I'm hoping no bedrest!!!

Yes. Cerclage put at w16, admitted to hospital at w21.4 with pelvic pain due to cervix shortening from 4cm 6 days earlier to 1.5. Started progesterone suppositories and bed rest at the same time. Yesterday w22.3 cervix measure 3.9 but still on bed rest.

Bedrest starting week 20 no cerclage with a 1.5cm cervix with tunnelling and contractions. I'm now at 34+2 with no cervix left.

Dear all,
I am new to this topic . I was told by my gyne to do cervilage in 12 weeks as I lost my baby in 17 weeks in my 1 st pregnsncy . May I know how safe the procedure is ? I read some internet stuffs and worried about infection and all . Can we resume normal work activity after cervilage ? In terms of bed rest, is it complete bed ridden ? Share your reviews .

How did you know... I have a lot of pain in my lower belly on the one side... I think i have just overdone it but after going into labour at 33 weeks on my LG I am terrified. I had such a healthy pregnancy with her but this time has been hard and it feels like my uterus is going to fall out, I cannot stand up without holding my belly up because of the pain. I am only 23 weeks and so scared. My midwife just said it's probably PGP on the phone. Ring back if my waters go. :(

Got my cerclage placed at 13wks so far so good I'll be 29wks Tuesday and no bed rest! Please take it easy I lost my son at 19wks when I had to have an emergency cerclage and I was funneling! I was on bed rest but nothing stopped it :( I'm praying for u!!

Hey. I just found out that I'm preggo with my second. With my first I had a cerclage done at 17 weeks and was in bed rest. I am worried and scared to have it all over again. Also how difficult it will be to be in bed rest with my little 3 year old running around.
