I have an ovarian cysts..your experience??

Im worried about surgery, and never been through surgery. Can you tell me your experience? What do they do? What did they give you? Everything. Thanks!

I actually have a cyst that is 2.8 cm on my left ovary and the doctor said they don't even worry about them until they reach 8.0 or 9.0 cm. so you really have nothing to worry about trust me I was in your shoes about 8 days ago worrying for nothing at all but if you do have a cyst get on tri sprintec birth control it helps shrink cysts on your ovaries to.

I had a HUGE cyst that I had no idea about for the longest time. I just got the surgery this past May. Let me tell you, it's really not that bad! I had never gotten surgery before so I know exactly how you are feeling. The day of surgery went fine, I was put on the table and they gave me my meds. The last thing I remember was looking up at the ceiling and the nurse asking if I felt it starting to work yet, then I was waking up in the recovery room. My pain overall after that never went past a 5. Don't worry, I was so nervous too and had many questions and anxiety on what it would be like. But it's all very worth it to get that thing out of you!

I never had to remove a cyst. A few have ruptured inside of me causing a great deal a pain, hospitalized. And then all the rest of them went away on it's own..
