Black tea?

Okay so I know I'm probably over thinking it but can I drink black tea while pregnant? I'm 5 weeks today and all I want is a cup of tea. I very very rarely drink it any more I used to have quite a lot now I'm lucky to have 1 a fortnight! It's just taken me soo long to get here that I don't want to do anything to harm this baby! ?

Just keep it to one cup and you'll be fine:-)

Some kinds of black tea can cause uterine contractions so make sure of which kind you are drinking.

A cup of black tea is the same as a cup of coffee, 200 milligrams a day is fine but if you can try a tea that's naturally decafinated

My doctor says it's fine as long as you limit caffeine to less than 200mg per day.
