How long should LH surge be?

I took 2 OPK's yesterday (one late morning and one late afternoon) and they were both positive!  Just took one now and it's negative.  Is that normal?  Is the surge supposed to last longer than a day??  Thanks!!

Girls can have anywhere between 1-5 days of LH surge and usually within that frame one day of peak LH surge indicating ovulation will follow within 24-36 hours. A positive ovulation test is showing high LH not ovulation. I hope this helps! Good luck!

I have been testing for a few days now and I still don't have a positive LH? Can something be wrong?

I've had 3 days in a row of positives. It's diff for everyone. If you're using bbt then that will help tell you as well.

Why would they be different which one do you go by

It could last for 3 days or so 
It could take some time to release egg and until then LH is surging
