After arguing with your SO do you feel closer to them?

My husband and I have argued about something stupid recently. After we were done I felt a little closer to him. I was wondering if other couples were the same way.

Depends what it is about and how we solved it

Only when we successfully work through the issue. If it brings out ugliness or unresolved issues then no.

I think that's normal usually during a disagreement in order to find common ground and resolve the issue you both have to listen to one another with their wants a needs and often more than the issue at hand comes out during silly disagreements and those can then be resolved :).  The last argument I had with my husband made me feel closer to him as well

My husband and I (after five years of marriage) just had that experience. I think We're getting better at listening to each other and trusting the other has our best interest at heart. Not that we like to fight, but we both said we felt closer afterwards because we really worked something out together.
