I'm a few days late. The second line doesn't appear in the window yet when I took it apart there are clearly two on the inside. Is that part of the test or what?

That "second line" is part of the test. It in no way indicates a positive. Sorry. A positive reading will *always* show in the window area.

I'm actually almost positive you aren't suppose to take them apart & should t have to for an accurate reading. 
If retry again in a few days.
