What to do about Hemorrhoids? (Tmi)

Within the past year, I Have noticed that when I have a bowel movement, I have these bubbles around my butthole. They can be painful sometimes, and frequently bleed. I have not mentioned them to my doctor, but should I? What would they do for it anyways? Anyone have experience?

I have had my hemorrhoids since after my son was born in 01 and I had them surgically removed in 03 because they bled so bad And they returned after I had my daughter in 05 and they have been there every since did the cream but it made mine worse I have internal and external ones they itch and burn and hurt when they flare up and when I strain during my bms they bleed they are literally a pain in the butt my doctor told me to eat more fiber and use mineral oil to keep myself regular and stool softer so I don't aggravate them but mine are still bleeding occasionally when I strain I'm trying to hold out on other surgery because it's very painful stitz bath is also great witch Hazel keep the area real clean and eat fiber good luck hope this helps! :)

My boyfriend had an issue with bleeding when he used the bathroom. He went to the doctor, they scheduled a colonoscopy and checked to make sure it wasn't cancerous(polyp) and prescribed him a hemorrhoid cream.

If you've had this for a year, you need to see a doctor. Hemorrhoids should heal faster than that.

You can use a cream for relief of burning, itching or irritation that they cause, called Preperation H. They are a pretty common thing just not something anyone ever talks about having. They can be brought on by stress, lifting heavy things or carrying around too much weight, or pushing too hard when having a bowel movement. If it is something that is recurring for you or you feel it is something that is getting in the way of your life, I do recommend mentioning them to your doctor. For the most part those, they are just a nuisance and will go away on their own.
