Neither. If you text him and he doesn't text back then leave it at that. Try talking to his face next time you see him then try texting him a few weeks later with something interesting. Don't just say hey. Just saying hey it what's up can annoy the mess out of some people. Just don't worry. If it's meant to happen then it will happen.

Well, ignoring him when he *does* text is rude and childish (if you ask me). And texting 46872 times with no reply is incredibly annoying... if someone did that to me, I know I'd be on the other end like TAKE A HINT!

If you're comfortable, send ONE text and say something like: I have a good time with you, would like to spend more time together. If you feel that way, get back to me and hopefully we can set something up.

If you don't want to put the cards on the table, just wait out the silence. Don't bombard with messages, and when he does respond, play it cool. In the down time, try to think that maybe he's into you and nervous, maybe he's not- you need to be ok with either and just take it as it comes.

If he doesn't like you back and you'll be crushed, I'd send the text to let him know how you feel. That way, he will know where you stand. If he was nervous maybe that will help him tell you, and if he's not interested, it gives him a chance to tell you and get out before you get more hurt.

You don't want him to think you are always available. When he texts you, text him back but keep it cool. If he asks you to hang out on a certain day, tell him you have plans that day but make date plans for another night. Guys love the chase! He will wonder what you are up to if you aren't always available to talk/hang out? Therefore he will become more interested in you and want to pursue YOU!

I tell all my friends and basically take a survey of them to see what they think he's thinking. Then they tell me "it's not that he doesn't like you, it's that he's awkward" and that makes me feel better about myself. Then I wait a few days and text him again or wait for him to text me. Lol
