After implinon birth control??

Question

I had my birth control implant removed from my arm on the 23rd of July. Since then I have had my monthly just once, the 26th of August. I was wondering if my body is still adjusting to not being on bc for a very long time or if I should make a doctors appointment. (There's no chance of me being pregnant!!!)

As soon as your implant is removed it's done. It's no longer effective and you can get pregnant immediately. I just got mine on the 20th and that's what I loved is that I wouldn't have to wait to have kids after I take it out.

I think it can take 3 months or so to adjust after having it removed (as I recall), but your doctor would likely be able to tell you. I wouldn't panic though. Hormones are crazy.
