What is he into and what hobbies does he like? I usually go off of that. Like my hubby is into photography so it's only natural to splurge on something that is for that that we normally wouldn't get. I know you have a budget, so I know that my example wouldn't be an appropriate gift.

I heard somewhere that it's bad luck to get your SO a watch because it means that your realationship has time.. But that's only if you believe in that stuff. Maybe get him a nice cologne that you like because you're the one who's gonna be smellin him.
