How did you know your husband was "the one"?

There's this guy in my life and I've honestly thought I could marry him from the moment I met him. How/when did you know your man was the one you'd spend your life with?

The little things like his similarities to my dad, or how he treated my brothers and sister. I used to think, "If I could take this quality from my high school boyfriend, and this characteristic from that rebound, and that trait from the college fling [and so on...] and put all these things into one person, I'd just have to marry him on the spot! Because he would be the ideal guy for me."
Turns out I'd already known my Mr Right for more than five years before I realized he was who I'd been searching for.

I knew in the first week I met my husband that he was the one. We dated for six months then got engaged and married three months later and have been married for 13 years. Sometimes you just know. You have this feeling. I hope he's your one.

When I was 15 and first meet him through my big sister and our eyes meet I felt something strange lol but I was young and refuse to be under any one spell lol didn't date until 17 but even then I knew we could never be friends only lovers. The minute I step into his car on our very first date as I smelled his scent closers I knew I was hook and we have been together since, we r both each other first love (sorry this is weird lol) but it truth we human find our mate like animals, we too attack to smell of our mate. N until now it's something I can never find in another man I don't think

I had to have surgery and I have was only with him for a couple months. He took care of me without question and when there was a complication he rushed me to the ER on the middle of the night and sat next to me until I was better.

You just know! My husband is my best friend and they only person I am 100% comfortable with and I can say anything too. I couldn't imagine my life without him at all and u met him when I was 16 at a party ? the first thing I loved about him is the fact he text me that night to make sure I got home ok - I thought it was really sweet so gave him a chance and I'm glad I did as 7 years later we are married with a baby on the way ?? x
