Told family n close friend as soon as we got BFP! We believe the power of prayer is powerful, and wanted people praying for our SO.

We are telling our families on Christmas Eve. We are taking a photo of ourselves and our son and a pair of shoes with a coming soon sign. We are going to have that picture made into little puzzles and then give one to each person. We are telling them that it is a game where they have to race to put it together first. We have been trying a long time for our second and with our first, everyone knew from pretty much day one.

We are waiting until Febuary or March to tell anyone! Maybe even later if I can keep it in that long.

We're officially announcing mid-Jan when we know the gender. His parents know, but we do not have a speaking relationship so it doesn't mean anything to me. Two people who knew we were trying know because they asked how the progress was coming along and I couldn't lie to them. My family and other two friends will know when we do the blood test that determines gender. With baby#1 we shouted it from the mountaintops as soon as we knew. We've gone about things much differently with Baby#2 and its worked for our little family. Shock one: our daughter will have on her "Big Sister" shirt. Shock two: 'Wanna know the gender? ; ) So far, we've been able to keep things under wraps.

Our family knew we were trying so we told our parents and siblings as soon as we got our Bfp. We are going to tell the rest of the family on Christmas Eve.
