So, I wanted to be on birth control to regulate menstruation and lessen my horrible pms. I'm having really normal side effects (nausea, headaches, heavy menstruation, the whole lot of it) but to an extreme. To put this in perspective, I filled up an extra large pad while wearing a medium tampon in about two hours. My nausea comes and goes in little bursts, but it's crippling and very painful. Midol and ibuprofen do very little to help with increased cramping as well as the headaches. I also can't seem to sleep. It's 5:17 am and I don't feel tired at all, whereas I couldn't seem to wake up for most of the day. To be fair, I don't know if that's a side effect or my dumb teenage brain. Did any of you experience the same things? If so, how long did it last?
