I was driving home and said it over the phone and realized what I said and hung up really quick thinking he didn't hear it but it was the best thing I said!

So we were just friends, and he took me to lunch after I told him I was having an awful day. Within minutes he had me laughing and being silly...horrible day completely forgotten. 
And as I watched him laughing like a little kid over something completely stupid, I fell in love. Just like that. I realized I was happy just being with him...something about him made me smile, all the time. 
Anyways, after lunch he took me home. I went to say goodbye and without thinking, awkward me blurted out "I love you!" And then of course I turned bright red and freaked out thinking oh my God I just ruined the best friendship I have ever had. But he just laughed and kissed me and said "I love you too dork". 
2 years later he whispered the same words in my ear after he kissed me I Do

I was falling asleep on his lap watching tv and he kinda woke me up a little, smiled and told me he loved me! I just smiled and went back to sleep. It was so cute! I told him I love him back the next time he said it. I was just so shocked the first time! Lol but I knew from the second we met. I even came home that night and told my grandma he's the one! Lol she called me crazy and thought I was kidding but I was dead serious. Haha

We were in his truck just sitting and hanging out then he told me. I was totally caught off guard so I didn't know what to say back because I never thought about it.
He ended up getting really upset that I didn't say it back as I felt really bad. So I was thinking about it and if I did or not and by the end of the night I said it back :)
Not sure if it was because I felt bad or really decided I loved him, but after all that we've been through up to this point I know I love him for sure!
