How much do you spend on your significant other during the holidays?

I'm just curious about how much other people spend on their partner when they are buying gifts. Did it decrease or increase the long you were together?

We actually wait until after the holidays and we go shopping together for instance this year he is getting a new gun for Christmas and I'm getting a new computer since mine broke. We tend to give eachother practical gifts like last year I got him a butchering lot since he loves to hunt and he got me a foodsaver and a nice set of knives.

It varies.. One year we swore we weren't buying each other anything and we both ended up finding all sorts of stuff.. Same goes for our anniversary

Well he spends ridiculous amounts of money on me even though I tell him not to... But I'm the type to just pick one gift that I know he will like

We don't spend money on each other.  We buy for others.

We don't do gifts. Not much money plus eh, not our thing. He gets me what I want during the year. I don't need a special day to get a gift from him.
